Southern Circle came from a deep desire to share the love we have for our art making with others. As artists, dreamers and doers our willingness to share creative knowledge with you is what motivated the birth of this unique creative escape. Our retreat will focus on intimate art making in an encouraging group environment. You will find the common thread weaving its way through the retreat is the spirit of human kindness and creativeness. There will be guided art making and gentle reflections of our results. Our goal is for you to leave Southern Circle feeling eager to continue your own creative thread.

During your experience with Southern Circle you will be guided through
3 art workshops. The retreat is planned so that you will be introduced to several art techniques by both Jenni Horne and Tiffin Mills. We encourage you to open your heart and hands to our creative passions.
The Journal Box workshop will kick off the weekend and weave its’ way throughout the retreat. Building upon itself a solid foundation as an exercise you will be sure to follow through with along your creative journey outside of the retreat. We will then move into a morning and afternoon of painting. Never painted? Or looking to expand your painting vocabulary? This workshop will
bring confidence to the foreground! And last, we will be gathering for an old fashioned sewing circle creating a lasting memory of our time together stitching
an heirloom worthy piece.
Southern Circle sets itself apart by teaching classes that are unique and encourage individual results. All materials will be provided for the art making portions of the weekend. We want you to come and enjoy the weekend without the stress of packing the right supplies. After our gathering we hope you will have the confidence to go and purchase the tools to continue your creative journey.
